The DBOA's "Ask the Ref" forum is back ... new and improved! DBOA Past President Perry Daniels will serve as our Rules Interpreter for the 2008 - 2009 season and is hosting the DBOA's first blog, Ask the Ref.
So what exactly is a blog? The term blog is short for "web log" and can be best described as "an online journal or diary". The "Ask the Ref" blog will offer DBOA officials and guests the opportunity to discuss officiating rules, questions, and game situations posted by Perry. In this forum, Perry can also post video clips and, as we've often heard him, ask, "So what did you see?" This is sure to stir up some hearty conversation.
The "Ask the Ref" blog is for DBOA members and guests. As of now, it is open to the public ... anyone can post a comment, so let's keep it clean. If you want Perry to consider a topic for discussion, please send it to asktherefblog@dallasref.com: put "Discussion Topic?" in the subject line. To maintain the integrity of the blog, please post your name with your comment, i.e., do not post a comment anonymously. Within the next few weeks, Ask the Ref will be accessible by acceptance of invitation only. More details to follow.
