DBOA Preferred Vendor Program

The guiding standard of the DBOA is to be recognized as the premier basketball officials' association in the nation. We welcome the services of any vendors interested in supporting us meet this goal.
In an effort to better partner with vendors and to ensure the best possible pricing and services for the Dallas Basketball Officials Association (DBOA) and its members, the DBOA has initiated its Preferred Vendor Program.
Benefits of becoming a DBOA Preferred Vendor include:
- Set-up at a minimum of 3 DBOA general business meetings before January 1, 2009. Meeting dates are 10/15, 10/29, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3, 12/17. Preferred vendors will choose preferred meeting dates when they sign-up to participate.
- 2-minute spot at 2 DBOA meetings to promote products or services
- Link to vendor website on front page of dallasref.com
- Preferred locations for site set-up at weekly meetings
- Preferred locations for regional clinic on 11/2 **
** Participation in regional clinic is an additional $100 for DBOA Preferred Vendors.
The cost to participate in the DBOA Preferred Vendor program is $250 or goods in the same amount.
A second vendor option is to become an Authorized Vendor. To become a DBOA Authorized Vendor, the pricing structure is as follows:
- Meetings: $100 each or goods in the same amount
- Regional clinic: $200

Guidelines for all DBOA vendors are as follows:
- Participation in DBOA Preferred Vendor Program is effective for one-year intervals, Sept 1 - Aug 31.
- All arrangements must be made through and approved by designated DBOA Vendor Point of Contact *** (VPOC).
- Failure to follow guidelines will result in forfeiture of payment and status as Preferred Vendor (or Authorized Vendor).
- Fees must be paid prior to first meeting attended by vendor.
- No sales taken place during DBOA general business meetings.
- Meetings dates must be reserved 48 hours in advance.
- Under no circumstances will price gouging be tolerated. If it is determined that a vendor has raised their prices above what the DBOA Board of Directors considers "usual and customary" or is listed on the vendor's website, the vendor agreement will be terminated and the vendor will forfeit his participation fees.
